Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want every rupee charged to be understandable. This policy describes how refunds and credits work when an engagement ends early.

Activation fee

The activation fee covers case setup, document review, and coordination once structured work begins. If you cancel before any work has begun and before a professional fee plan is agreed, the activation fee is refunded in full.

Cancellation during the engagement

You may cancel a professional engagement at any time by writing to us. The professional fee is then credited proportionately to the work already completed, as agreed in your fee plan. The basis of proportionality is written in the plan when it is signed.

When no refund applies

• Work already delivered (e.g., documents prepared, communications submitted) remains billed.
• If a settlement or resolution is reached, the agreed professional fee is due in full as per the plan.
• Fees are not refunded because a desired outcome (waiver, reduction, deletion) did not occur — outcomes are never guaranteed.

How refunds/credits are paid

Approved credits are returned to the same method used for payment, or adjusted against the balance due, whichever you prefer. We process within 10 working days of approval.

How to request a refund

Write to us through the contact page with your reference number and the reason for the request. We respond within one business day.
